This posting concerns my favorite sports teams; The Toronto Maple Leafs, The Pistons and The Lions. Three different teams in three different sports in 2 countries and you know what they all have in common? You probably guessed right, they are all horrible. I don't know why I love and follow these teams.
Every time they give me hope and win a couple they'll come out and bomb. For example, look at the Leafs, they started the season 5-0 and Leaf-Nation went crazy and we started to plan the Stanley Cup parade but then they go on to go winless in their next 8. And last night I'm watching the highlights and the Leafs are finally on ESPN but guess what, it's because Sid the Kid smoked them and the Penguins win 4-0.
Then look at the Lions, you know what forget them, they'll just depress you if you think about them for too long. And I know the Piston's are rebuilding but come on blow this team apart, trade Rip and Tay, I know they are the dace of the team but they are at least worth something right now and they could help to rebuild the team for the future. Another thing about the Pistons is that they'll look good for a couple quarters but they never play well in the fourth no matter who they are playing.
Don't worry you lovable losers, I'm not sure if it's because I'm loyal or too hard-headed to switch but I'll always love you 3.

Crunch Time
This can mean many different things depending on the situation. But for me and many of my fellow students, this is the time when all the final group projects, assignments are due and we're also preparing for our finals. This semester, like all the ones in the past, I have 3 major group projects to complete. Luckily with the advent of Wikis and GoogleDocs creating and editing the projects has been made easier. Unfortunately this does not improve group communication.
I have less than 3 weeks to the end of the semester and I have to admit that I've actually enjoyed this past term. All of my classes are interesting and I'm learning so much from my professors' real life experience instead of just 'book theory'.
I can't wait, Crunch Time will soon be over and I'll be one more semester closer to graduating.
